Canada Goose shot with arrow has been rescued
#1
Thankfully they were able to catch the Canada Goose that was shot with an arrow. It is amazing that the goose was still alive with an arrow in him like that. It looks like the surgery to remove the arrow has been a success and he will recover.

Count this as another save for Toronto Wildlife. They really are a good group.

Now we just need to find who did this and sort them out.

Indeed! I just hope that all the publicity will prick their conscience (if they have one) and get them to come forward and confess.

What a cruel thing for someone to do. Animals are not there for people to take shots at. This is terrible, but I am so glad the goose was rescued.

There was also a case of a Texas vet who shot a cat with a crossbow and bragged about her shooting skills online. She has been suspended of course, and the case is being investigated.

I can't imagine what motivates people to do things like this. That goose suffered for six weeks before he was rescued. I am just glad he can be saved.

I heard about the vet. I hope she loses her licence. I wouldn't want her to touch one of my pets.

Maybe someone who knows who has a hunting bow will turn the guy in. Maybe they can trace the arrow. They can't be too common.
