Rescue group goes to the dump
#1
A rescue group around Edmonton Alberta searches the local dumps regularly. What they find are puppies. Some are dumped there and some go there in search of food.

These are wonderfully dedicated people. There is not a lot of help for animals in the area. No doubt they save the lives of the dogs they pick up. It is nice to know that for every need there is an angel out there doing what needs to be done.Angel

Thank goodness there are people like that able to do this. I hadn't considered why the animals might be at the dumps, I guess scavenging for food will be the main reason but to think that puppies are dumped there is most distressing.
You're right, of course. There does seem to be an angel for every need!

There are shelters, but the dumps they visit are in more rural areas so there may not be a shelter option. However dumping puppies at a garbage dump is not okay. Some of the puppies are probably born to mothers who are strays. With any luck they can find the mom when they find the puppies.
