As usual, a set of baby ducks went through the grate and ended up trapped in the storm sewer. In the quintessential Canadian move they used a hockey stick and duct tape to rescue them.

Maybe we need to redesign storm sewers. Every year countless baby ducks fall through the grate and are trapped. Even though there are many fine rescues(this one being one of the best) I am sure some babies are not found and not rescued. Who knows what happens to them. I am sure it is not good.
