The world's oldest living cat
#1
Meet Corduroy, the oldest living (documented) cat in the world.
He just celebrated his 26th birthday.

I think he looks very good for his age.

It seems that cats are living longer these days and dogs too.
I know reptiles are living longer. I have had a lizard for 11+ years and she was 2-3 years old when I got her.

So what does it mean for us that our pets live longer.

The article focuses on the cost and misses how pets who live longer can form deeper bonds with us. They are right though, we do need to think about how much longer our pets can live. We have to plan for them being there many more years.
I think that is a good thing. I would spend the money on something else so why not spend it on my pets.
