Shameful killing of a Grizzly bear
#1
Trophy hunting is repulsive and barbaric. This particular hunt was nasty. I can't find the actual video, but I have seen parts of it. This beautiful Grizzly Bear did not deserve what happened to it. I feel for his pain and fear when the attack came.

It is worse for me in that this is my country and such trophy hunting is legal. Smiley19

Okay, I found the video. It is bad, so you know whether you need to see it or not.

If there is any justice in the universe these so called hunters will be treated by nature as they have treated nature.(I didn't think I could post my first thoughts on the matter)

Sad, barbaric, and unnecessary.

I am glad to hear First Nation Groups have vowed to do 'whatever it takes to stop the hunt on their territories'. I hope they put up a good fight.

There are a lot of First Nations groups in BC. If anyone can stop the hunting they can.
There are so few grizzly bears. We can't afford the loss of even one.

Also that was an act of animal cruelty. If that is trophy hunting, then it needs to be stopped.

It is heart breaking that such a magnificent animal, just quietly going about life, should be cut down so unkindly. His last moments were painful and frightening. Worse they laughed and made fun of his pain. They had no respect for the bear.
Sadly they probably didn't break any laws for which they can be charged. There needs to be some changes to the laws surrounding hunting and wildlife.
