Dog rescue surprise

Two people stopped their car on the road and ended up rescuing a surprise litter of puppies.
The poor little mother was so hungry, but she still wanted to get back to her puppies.

Isn't she sweet looking. It is so fortunate that she wasn't hit by a car and that the people who stopped were the ones who would help her.

I hope she found the loving home she deserves.

I just read this story tonight! What a marvellous story, and thank goodness it all worked out as it did. The man was grumpy about the pups, and was going to dump them! But his wife was kinder, though wouldn't stand up to him over them....
What a clever dog, to help her pups like that. She put her life at risk but it worked well.

That poor dog must have been wandering the road every day hoping to find food for her puppies. It couldn't have been going well for her. She was so thin.
It is hard to believe the old man was going to be so cruel as to dump the puppies, but I bet he would of. Probably they would have been left on the road or worse, dumped in a river.

The rescue couldn't have come at a better time.
