Looks Good

Congrats on the new web job.  I guess they come in one at a time and keep you busy when you first start out.

The theme should be fun. You realize I am going to play with that colour wheel for hours.  I love colours.
I like DDEDBC.   It is soft and earthy. Of course if we want some blue we may need to adjust that.  Pale green background or would a very soft beige be better?  Would our writing stay black. That would be the easiest to read I would think.

I could play with a colour wheel like that and shift shades and test combinations...you have given me a pretty new toy. Heart

The glitches are little things. I am sure the PM system is a funny little glitch.
I can be online all evening and of course there is texting.

Mine is unlimited. If yours is not, let me know.

For anyone who doesn't know what Catherine means, here is the colour: http://www.color-hex.com/color/ddedbc

This is similar to my other website: http://house-for-sale-in-mayenne.com  - only our green is just a shade darker.

I like that colour LPC, on your website. (That's a beautiful house by the way! The gardens from what I can see are gorgeous.)

I don't think that colour would clash too much with the blue we already have on the pages (here)....or is that blue/black changeable too?

I also like the paler green shade. It shouldn't be too dark perhaps, to make sure text is clear.

This is the site that Bock sent me.

I forgot she sent it by PM so you didn't have the link.

I have been having fun looking at the colours and the possibilities.

Green has always been our Forum colour so I would like to stay green.  I find it a soothing colour. There is something natural and earthy about green depending on the shade.

Good choice of  colour LPC.  It is a pretty shade or is it a tint?

Quick reply seems to be one of the ongoing glitches. I have always used the regular reply and found it to be quite fast.

There are also some glitches to the private message system.

Hopefully we will sort this all out in time.

Another glitch is that you can't see people's profiles. I get an error message. The forum is looking really pretty.

Thank you for reporting that, Ruth. I will add that to list of glitches on our admin section.

Tobi: The blue and black can be changed as well as the background[s].

Catherine: you can have any color text you want. You can certainly keep it black.

Also, I've noticed if you use the "quick reply", while it doesn't seem to work, if you hit refresh while the "buffering" icon is working, it will go ahead and post your reply.

However, I did try to quote Tobi's post about the colors and that button does not seem to be working either.

You're right, AF! I just checked. Quote doesn't work. Neither does report. Warn shows an error message.

Some of these problems should disappear when the missing files are uploaded.

I found the second set of problems and sorted them out. I did some quick testing and it looks like the old glitches are fixed, at least for me. If anyone has further problems, please post them here. Smile And feel free to click on plenty of things just in case.

NOOOW I can work on the theme. I think. Big Grin YAY.
