Wolf Cull

I have never understood the negative image most people have of wolves. 

I also do not understand the irrational fear of reptiles.

We really need to overcome these things for the good of the planet.

That is a very concise presentation and it makes the importance of predators so clear. If only governments all over would listen.
Killing the wolves will not help the caribou. The cull will probably make things worse. The caribou will probably over graze and damage areas that the wolves would have protected.

It takes an open mind and a good imagination to see the intricate balance between species and between species and the environment. Any quick solution like a cull is certain to be the wrong solution.

If they would leave things alone, nature could create its own balance.

The sad thing is the governments of many countries don't give priority to the causes of the ecosystem and each animals plight involved. They should start paying attention to this before it is too late.

They need to understand the environment as a complete system. They tend to look at one issue at a time. When you do that the answers you come up with are wrong.  The right answer involves the whole system. We need to think globally and we need to consider everything from the smallest micro-organism to the largest species and we need to consider them in their natural habitat.

It is not simple or easy, but we didn't create the mess in a few minutes either.

The less we do the better. That means not culling and it means not polluting, damming, logging, strip mining, fracking......the list goes on forever.  Whatever it is we are doing, just don't do it any more.
