Dog protecting kitten

This sweet dog has 'adopted' and protects a tiny abandoned kitten. Lovely little video:

The only question I have is why is that dog wearing such a heavy chain round his neck?? He seems well-loved and relaxed though. Dear little kitten. I hope it is old enough to be weaned....

That is so sweet. The dog is so gentle and caring. The kitten is very tiny, but I think it can eat. It should still be with mom, but the comfort and warmth from the dog should be enough as long as there is food. Someone must be feeding the kitten.

Dogs really are the best.
