Let it Bee
#1
Friends of the Earth Canada has started a campaign they call "Let it Bee" to encourage people to do bee friendly things with their gardens.  They ask people to create a Bee & Bee where bees can live and feed and be safe, or should I say bee safe.

The future survival of bees is in our hands. What we do really does matter in this case.

I am doing what I can. I have been planting native plants every year. I think about the bees when I choose new additions to my garden.
If we all think about the bees then we should be able to save them.

This is so important, I'm doing my best to attract bees to my garden.

I choose my plants carefully now. They need to feed the pollinators and some of them need to feed the birds.

I still need to replace my butterfly bushes. I lost all four in the ice storm 2 years ago. The winter  I year ago was so cold I lost my first replacement bush.  I am hoping this spring to get something growing again.
