There have been sightings of a sick coyote in Toronto. His mate was killed by a car. He was raising three babies on his own. He seems to have mange which could be treated. Toronto Wildlife has been trying to help him.
Today there was a sighting and police were called. They didn't call Toronto Wildlife, the people who are trained to deal with this. They just shot him. He might just be seriously wounded, but he will now be in no shape to look after a litter of babies.
