Vegetable protein better for you than animal protein

As part of a larger study they observed that people live longer when they eat vegetable sources of protein instead of animal sources.

This is a complicated study and there are a lot of other factors, but it is clear that animal protein is a less healthy choice. Also eating a diet higher in plant proteins is actually good for you.

There are a lot of reasons for not eating meat. This is certainly a very good one.

You will live longer without meat.
It is better for the environment.
An animal does not have to die for you to eat.

That finding does not surprise me!

I find people coming up with all sorts of reasons why they need to eat animal protein, and those who don't sometimes have scorn poured upon them! But let's hope people who prefer to stay fit and who prefer not to cause suffering will listen to this news.

The vegetable vs meat protein source was not the focus of the study. This is just a side observation.

What would they learin if they intentionally studied the issue.
I hope somedoes start a proper study
