Ottawa University to teach Animal Rights law course
#1
This is a real sign of the times!
Attitudes are changing. Not that long ago animal rights was not even an issue. Now they will be teaching a course in university about animal rights laws. We actually have animal rights laws to teach about. They may not be enough protection, but the laws do exist and they are a start.

This is a real sign of how we are changing in our attitudes towards animals. A new generation of students will graduate knowing and believing in animal rights. It can only get better.

Yes, good news indeed I hope that they raise the issue of bear baiting (in the Canadian sense).

This is a good start.  Issues will be discussed and debated and lawyers will graduate with an awareness about animal rights.

It is a sign of progress in this area. If one university offers a course then the others will soon follow. They won't want to seem to be behind the times.
