Dog lover's gift helps pets of homeless.

Carl Graham Young has left his estate to the Victoria Cool Aid Society. The $388,000 allows them to help the pets of the homeless and to create housing for homeless people and their pets.

Young was a true animal lover and he transformed his death into an opportunity to help animals. Hopefully his actions will inspire others to donate time and money to helping people and their pets.

I'm glad that he made these arrangements whilst he was still young (60). If he had waited, homless pets and their caretakers would not have benefitted.

It's a shame in one way that a kind and thoughtful man like that had to pass on while still quite young. He must have been a great guy to know. Bless his Soul, and his dog Turbo. Wherever they are they will now be very happy together I am sure.

How very thoughtful and kind of him to leave that all to the homeless and their companions. They need all the help they can get.

It is a good thing that he was a planner.  He also trusted other people to use his money to do good things for animals now after he is gone. He will certainly be remembered because of all the good that will be done.
