Russia catching wild orcas

The world's going backwards again. A conference in Vladivostok has confirmed they are upping the quota for 2017 to 10 orcas to be captured.

I don't know what a petition will do but please sign anyway. This is appalling and unnecessary.

Signed (although I am a man and the petition is by "Women of the World United Against Taiji"). I fully support the petition, but can't see why an organisation for animal welfare should be for women and not men as well. We are all humans and have an equal responsibility for this planet and all creatures on it.

I very much hope that the petition succeeds.

Sad, but true.

This is very much a gender neutral issue so I am sure they invite anyone to sign. It is just sponsored by a women's group.
I have spent my whole life signing "men's" petitions. It is refreshing to see one sponsored by women.

At least our signatures let them know that we are watching and that we do not approve.
