Lab animals that made it into loving homes
#1
So few lab animals have a happy ending. Very few ever make it out of the lab alive. For those animals, their whole lives are a testament to how little people regard animal welfare.

However sometimes animals get a chance at life. When it happens we should celebrate it. Because if these animals are capable of having a happy ending why can't the rest of them be given a chance.

There should finally be an end to animal testing and experimentation. Until that happens we should at least give a happy retirement to the animals that have been used. I was going to say the "animals who served", but that implies that they had a choice. They didn't serve, they were used.

How good to see that someone cares...that some of those animals make it into loving homes. Yet they must all be deeply affected by what has happened to them. But at least they will have happy lives from now on, with love.

I am glad that there are rescue groups out there that specialize in getting lab animals released to loving homes.

Most labs refuse to release the animals. Every example of a lab animal living a happy retirement proves they are wrong.
Some day we will stop animal testing. Until that day we owe every lab animal a happy life. That is the least we can do.
