Toronto Island Peacock takes off for drier pastures.

Toronto has a wonderful set of islands in the main harbour. There are a number of interesting island animal residents.
Right now because of the heavy rain  there is serious flooding on the islands. One of the Peacocks has decided to live out the flooding on someone's rooftop on another island.

I think he is very creative. He has found a dryer spot and he is getting fed regularly.  The island he normally lives  on is more a part of the lake right now. Good luck trying to get him back before the water dries up.
