Helping endangered animals with human made homes
#1
Scientists working in the Australian outback  are producing protective homes so small animals have a way to be safe.
Animals of all kinds are using them, lizards and rodents.
It is a creative way of helping endangered species survive in a world of introduced predators and climate change.

This kind of help could be the difference between survival or not for a species in an area.
Now they need to expand things and put the homes in more places.
I find it very encouraging that there are people out there doing things like this. We may be in trouble ecologically and biodiversity may be threatened, but there are also good people working to save lives and keep ecosystems going.  That is something we can be happy about.
