Microchip brings the cat back..10 years later.

Jack the cat went missing ten yeas ago. His people had done something that wasn't common then, they had him microchipped. 
It is a good thing they did, because he showed up at an animal shelter. Because of the microchip they were able to contact Jack's family.

Imagine their surprize when they got a call about a cat they haven't seen in ten years. You have to wonder where he has been all this time.

This story really illustrates the need for microchipping. Every year many cats go missing. They have no chance of getting home if they can't be identified. Microchipping is safe and easy and not too expensive. I am sure Jack's people are glad they did it and so is Jack.
