Coming up to Christmas, how about gifts for dog lovers?



A reminder that Soi Dog, a most worthy charity, supports stray dogs and cats in Asia (Phuket, Thailand.) And helps those who have been saved from the dog meat trade.

So if you're stuck for what to buy an animal lover for Christmas, go and take a look there. You will be helping needy dogs and cats.

(I bought an umbrella there last Spring, and it is big, strong and well made. I also bought my Christmas cards there this year. Even with postage costs added, the cost averages at about £1 per card which is not expensive.)

You are right, they have some very good things for sale.  This would be a good Christmas to start giving meaningful gifts that give back to those in need. I like the virtual gifts. You have all the fun of gift giving, but the gift goes where it is needed most.

I hope people take advantage of this and help out a good cause.
