50 dogs from Korean dog meat farm now safe in Montreal
#1
Humane Society International has been busy. They have shut down another dog meat farm and brought 50 dogs to safety in Canada. The farmer plans to expand into growing parsley. It is important that they are rescuing the dogs. It is also important that they transition the farmers into other forms on income.

It may seem like a slow process, but so far over 1300 dogs have been brought to safety by HSI. Most of those dogs are already living in homes. It is amazing how quickly the dogs learn to trust and love when they are given love and good treatment.

The eating of dog meat is becoming less popular. The increasing negative publicity and the steady work of rescue groups is having an impact. It will take time, but the dog meat industry is being shut down.

For this latest batch of dogs it is already over and they will soon be pets living the good life that every dog deserves.
