Horses rescued from a pond
#1
It must have been a scary time for both the horses and the owner. This time of year the ice is softer than it looks and ponds are not safe. Worse they are sometimes buried by snow and you do not see them until too late.

Good thing for the horses that there were trained people on the spot to get them out in time.

Three cheers for firefighters. They always seem to come to the rescue.

Glad to see the horses weren't hurt at all. Firefighters always seem to be helping animals more than fighting fires. God bless them!

You are right about firefighters. They do a lot of rescues and when there is a fire they do their best to rescue any animals in danger.

I am just glad that this time everyone came out alright. It is dangerous to fall into cold water this time of year.

Great job, firefighters! Thank goodness those horses were pulled out in time to save their lives.

Every year something falls in a pond somewhere. Ponds can be hard to spot and ice gets soft so fast in the late winter. Good thing the firemen watch out for us and our furry friends.
They were lucky horses. I was cold enough to be very dangerous.
