Yes it is that wonderful time of the year again, World Snake Day.
https://www.calendarlabs.com/holidays/in...ke-day.php
There are no cool cards or appropriate gifts for the occasion. Somehow I think we are failing this holiday.
So I think I will post my own pictures.
This is Mr. Green, the reptile centre pet. We all love him.
This is Elliot, my Hypo Brooks King snake
My Corn snakes Iceman and Lily
Raven and David, my beautiful couple.
Mike with Sandie, the male that I just lost last week.
Martin, my special Albino Black Rat Snake
Molly and Jenna, two of my corn snake girls
Me holding Molly the Borneo Blood Python. Yes she is too heavy for me.
A better picture of Molly
This is Lucy at a street festival
Cayenne, my hognose snake. She does have a "peppery" personality.
Benito, my beautiful Brazilian Rainbow Boa
My Southern Pine Snakes, Daniel and Rosie
And of course my dear sweet brave Jake Krinkle Snake. I believe Jake is ten years old. Can you believe it. I wasn't sure he would live and he has thrived and grown to be at least 4 feet long. Not bad for a little snake that tied himself in a knot and couldn't get free.
If I put him on the floor 30 min later he can make it to the other side of the room.
These are not all my snakes and snake friends, but they are some of them.
I think we should have a party tomorrow.
If I had been planning ahead I would have baked a snake cake.
Enjoy world snake day.
