Simon Cowell gave 32,000 to Humane Society International. They used that money to shut down another Korean Dog meat farm. This is the 13th one they have closed. The farmer will now be focusing on a medicinal herb farm.
As a result 200 dogs were saved. They have been flown to safety in various places. Some arrived at Toronto Pearson Airport and are staying in Cambridge Ontario.

Even though there are still many dog meat farms a rescue like this shows the other farmers that there is a way out.
They don't have to continue raising dogs under terrible conditions so they can be cruelly killed. There is another possible future for the farmer and there is certainly another future for the dogs.
It may be slow at first, but one farm at a time still in the end closes and converts dog meat farms. The more they close the sooner the next closure will be.
