Save 'Mafa' the white rhinoceros

Mafa is a beautiful White Rhino male. It is not clear how he ended up in a Russian circus. He is forced to "perform" for audiences even thought it is inappropriate and stressful for him.  Because the circus travels they cannot possibly meet his needs.

Seeing Mafa in the circus ring is sad. It is not interesting or entertaining, it is sad. People get to watch a badly treated animal react to the stress of the crowds. I can't imagine why this is considered entertainment or a performance. It is the tragic misuse of a beautiful animal. The fact that the beautiful animal is critically endangered just makes it worse.

The days of animal acts in circuses is over.  The days of  harming an endangered animal are over. 
Mafa needs to be in a sanctuary with other White Rhinos. He needs to be freed from this horrible life that he leads. Anything less is an injustice against endangered animals everywhere.
