I was actually looking for something else when I can across this article about crows. They have been studying the family structure of crows and reasons why some crows go off on their own and why some stay in family groups.

The more I learn about them the more I respect crows. They are amazingly complex birds and they are clearly very fine people.
I am always thrilled when a flock of crows is in the neighbourhood. Now I am going to be watching them to see if I can spot family relationships.
