Success for the Beagles!!!!

The efforts of the Humane Society of the United States and a 122,000 signature petition have put an end to the cruel fungicide tests on 36 Beagles.  Efforts will now be made to find homes for the dogs.

Ending this cruelty and rescuing these dogs is a big victory.

Never doubt that what we do when we protest things does have an effect. It is not often that things happen so quickly, but in this case time was running out for the dogs. Things had to move quickly.

That is such great news! And it has happened quickly! It goes to show that we do have a voice and can use it to change many things we feel are unjust.

It is the best of news and it does tell us that every signature on a petition matters. Everything we do to save animals has the possibility of a happy outcome like this. 

I just hope they do a follow-up and let us know that the Beagles have found homes. After months of torture they deserve the best homes and people who will do everything to help them forget.
