Puppy Prom
#1
The Helen Woodward Animal Center holds an annual event called Puppy Prom. Previously adopted pets dress up fancy and come back for a reunion with litter mates and volunteers. It gives people a chance to see how well the dogs are doing in their new homes.
Dogs still waiting for adoption are also part of the event so it give people a chance tp see them in a different light.

I think the idea sounds like fun and it does help get dogs adoptive homes. When people see how well adopted dogs work out and how cute the hopeful shelter residents are it is enough to get some of the dogs new homes.

Shelters have to be creative to find homes for all the dogs that are in need. This is one of the cute ideas.

This is a really nice idea Smiley20

So long as the dogs get the point of going back to the shelter...? Even for a great party?

It's good that they involve the ones still waiting for adoption too.

I think maybe the dogs are coming back to show off their humans. They know they have a strong bond with someone and they want others to know about it.

Having the adopted dogs with the waiting dogs might give the waiting dogs some hope. They can see that for every dog there is a family waiting.

It all looks like fun.
