This is a remarkable story. I have heard of some odd foster mom situations, but I have never heard of a cat nursing baby ducks.





I wonder what the cat thinks about her feathered babies now that they can swim?

Awww! I just love this! It's so beautiful. Thank goodness the cat found the ducklings while all the "mothering hormones" were working! What a funny, gorgeous little family they are.

The mothering instinct must be the most powerful force on Earth. It defies logic and reason. Baby duck do not even remotely look like kittens. There is something about babies though. They all have a wide-eyed innocence and that seems to be able to reach a mother of any species. I should know, I can fall for any baby, any species.
