Pet owners fight Condo Boards

Condo Boards and dog owners are frequently at odds with each other. People want to have dogs and condo boards seem to want to ban things.  In a particular case, people were allowed dogs at first. When they were banned by the condo board, people were all owed to keep the dogs they had, but were not allowed any new dogs. 

Some dog owners are fighting this.

Condos vs. pets is ongoing battle. People want pets. People living in small condos in the downtown areas need their pets. They are part of being healthy and happy in our lives. There will always be some pet owners who are irresponsible and have pets that cause trouble. It is wrong and unfair to punish everyone else who wants a pet because of those people.  Pet owners are going to have to fight their condo boards.

Actually pet owners are going to have to make sure they get elected to their condo boards. If they want to keep their pets and have pet friendly rules they will need to be part of the group that makes the rules.  Of course this only works when the board is elected. If a management company runs things then there might need to be legal action. No management company should be able to dictate how you live in a condo you own.

If we want to live with pets, we are going to have to fight for the right whenever it is questioned.
