It is always nice to hear about people doing good things. It is even more special when it is young people like Alyssa and her cousin.
They got together and baked cookies and made bracelets and then went door to door selling them. They raised over $300.00 dollars.
They took that money to the PEI Humane Society and donated it. The shelter is always helping animals in need so she figured they could use the money.

This is a happy story. A nice couple of teenage girls do something good to raise money for an animal shelter to help them with the good work they do for animals. Everyone is doing good and good things happen. Sometimes we need to hear these things.
In the midst of all the bad news we hear it is nice to hear something good. There are many good things happening all around us. We just need to hear about it more often so we don't get discouraged.
