Otter enjoying the snow
#1
Vancouver is not usually a snowy area. Lately they have been having quite  a bit of the fluffy white stuff. The otters are the Vancouver Aquarium are not used to snow, but they have certainly taken a liking to it.

I love it when animals encounter snow. Some want the white stuff to go away and others see it as a giant toy.

Of course the otters swim in cold water so a little snow wouldn't seem too cold.

LOL! The Otters are really enjoying it. What super pictures.

Sally-cat hated snow, and seemed to blame me for it!
Misty quite liked it, after the first five minutes. But it was so funny to watch how she trod in it at first when I opened the back door in the morning Smiley4 After that, she would play in snow for ages, but could never understand why sticks disappeared completely in it, and frisbee wouldn't fly any more (clogged with ice)

Has anyone seen that viral You tube video of  a Russian Crow who repeatedly snowboards down a roof using a piece of cardboard as a snowboard?  I will try to find it....

This I have to see. Trust a crow to invent a type of bird snow boarding or should I say crow boarding. Smiley4

I could picture Misty playing in the snow and being puzzled when a stick vanished in the snow. Snow does seem to eat things.
