Pet safety in the cold weather
#1
In a lot of places it is winter and it is very cold. As usual we remind people to be aware of the dangers of cold for our pets.

It doesn't matter where you are, if it is colder than usual then you need to be careful.  It is obvious that the cold is a danger when
it is -20C. It is also dangerous when it is -1C/30F. For some short haired animals that is going to be too cold for comfort or safety.
The wind chill is also a factor. Animals can suffer frostbite the same as we do. If the wind feels cold to you, it feels cold to your dog.
Better to be safe than sorry. Protect your pets and keep them warm. We all want to make it to spring healthy and happy.
