Animal killing contests in Maryland

There are animal killing contests in many places in the USA. Some are worse than others.
Maryland has some particularly nasty contests. They kill foxes, racoons and coyotes and assign points depending on what was  killed. 
They lure the animals will calls and hen shoot them with high powered riffles.

At no point is this hunting or in any way killing an animal for food or fur. The bodies of the animals are pretty much destroyed by the riffles. These contests are about killing. People are rewarded for wanting to kill something for no reason.

There is a petition against such contests. Please sign it. This kind of brutality must be stopped.
