Climate change visitors
#1
Now that we are in the midst of serious climate change we are starting to notice "visitors" in northern countries.
In the UK there are birds like the Cattle Egret and insects like the long tailed blue butterfly.
In Canada I have noticed Green Herons and we now have ticks that carry Lyme Disease. I am sure there are other visitors.

These animals change our ecosystems and even displace our regular wildlife. The changing weather can also cause a decline in our local bird's ability to survive here.  Who knows what other animals will be displaced.  I assume if animals are moving north, different plants are moving north.

This is just another aspect of climate change that we haven't considered. We don't know what the consequences will be.  We could lose a lot of species. By not dealing with climate change we are creating a future that we might not like. If we don't act soon some changes will be irreversible.
