Drive-up pet microchipping
#1
Furry Friends Rescue in Bismarck, North Dakota held a drive-up microchipping event.  They offered hand sanitizer and reduced the amount of face to face contact.
It was a success and even post pandemic they are considering using the drive up format for microchipping events.

Other rescues have tried the drive up microchipping and it has been a success. It is a fast and efficient way of seeing many animals safely.
There may be some good ideas that come out of our adaption to pandemic conditions. Certainly it is a good thing if people take microchipping their pets seriously.
More lost pets find their way home if they are microchipped.
