I am incredulous! I cannot believe that with all that is going on in the world right now, any country would hold a whale slaughter. The Faroe Islands went ahead with their annual brutal slaughter of whales. They turned the sea red with the blood of gentle marine mammals.
It was hoped that the Covid 19 restrictions would be enough to stop the slaughter. After all only 10 people can gather at a time. In this case however an exception was made and people were allowed to come together for the butchery.

It seems our season of human deaths has not made us more compassionate to animals. We are capable of the same brutality this year as we have been all the other years. The killers not only risked themselves, they put animal rights groups at risk if they wanted to fight this slaughter.
What will it take for this brutality to end. It seems millions of people sick globally is not enough of a distraction.
Minimally, we need to boycott anything or any product that comes from the Faroe Islands.
This must be stopped somehow.
