Fight to save Golden retriever puppy's life
A 6 week old golden retriever puppy was brought in to the Central Island Veterinary Emergency Hospital in Nanaimo suffering from severe pneumonia. The owner surrendered to puppy and the Victoria Humane Society  has taken over responsibility for him.  His illness is severe and it will be costly, but he is a young dog and they feel he deserves a chance at life. The first day he had only a 20% chance of surviving. Now the odds are at least 70%.

Well done, Victoria Humane Society, for giving the little dog a chance. I am sure their fundraising efforts will bring in enough to pay the bills, but they have taken responsibility for the puppy with no guarantees. Elliot is a sweet little dog and I am glad he is going to have a chance at life. Someday he will be strong and healthy in a forever home because caring people gave him a chance. Heart
