The Hero (Well sort of)

Another 'ninja cat' video as Tobi would say.

A case of scratch first, apologise later....

The cat meant well. It was certainly determined to protect the child from the baby sitter. It looks like the other cat is trying to reason with him at one point. Who knows, maybe the cat knows something we don't.Undecided

That cat is definitely trying to defend the child. If you look closely, although he runs in on hearing the noise, he starts attacking when the girl pushes the boy away from the broken glass; he stops when she retreats into a corner near the stairs, away from the child. When she later picks up the child, the cat starts again.

Oh dear! That was dramatic! Perhaps it was the sound of breaking glass which made the cat act so strongly. Maybe it associated that sound with violence somehow?? Confused

I agree the cat's motives seem to be to protect the little boy! That is so touching actually.

The babysitter seemed terrified. I wonder what would have happened if she had barked at the cat?

Maybe, as Catherine says....the cat doesn't like the babysitter and thought it was protecting the little boy. I think the other cat was trying to 'join in'....!

Tough kitty! I wouldn't like to be a burglar at that house! lol

The cat doesn't just attack her. He keeps on chasing her. It makes me wonder about the whole situation. She certainly did not know how to respond to the cat to calm it down. I just wonder if the cat had been watching her and did not trust her in the first place?

The parents obviously didn't trust her. Who has CCTV in their sitting room!

Though I'm sure she is a sweet girl ...

That crossed my mind. Why were they filming her in the first place. Clearly the cat was not to fond of her.

I would be nervous of a babysitter that the cat attacked like that.

Maybe she is nice, but the cat sure doesn't think so. How much do we trust out pets.
