One lucky cat is down to 8 lives. The cat was tied up in a bag and thrown in the garbage. Just before the bag went through a garbage separating machine, a worker pulled the bag off the conveyor belt and freed it from the bag.
The cat is okay. Sadly it was not the first animal the workers had found.

I wonder if there were some animals that were not found. It takes a particularly cruel streak to toss an animal in the garbage. The person has to know that it will not end well. This cat was very lucky. I am sure lots of animals are not found and die horrible deaths. I don't know how they can track who did this, but they should try. Maybe someone will recognize the cat and know who the owner was. Cruelty like this cannot be overlooked.
