Cat had to be rescued with a jack hammer.
#1
A cat went down into a basement and went down a pipe. The fire department was called out. Using a special camera they could see the cat. However the pipe was protected by 16 inches of concrete. They finally had the break up the basement floor with a jack hammer and cut the cat free. Other than a little dehydration the cat is fine. Perhaps minus one of its nine lives however.

What is it with cats and getting into odd places. Think of the damage they had to do to rescue the cat.
I had a cat get into a wall (how, I have no idea) and we had to cut a hole in the middle of the living room wall.
I had a cat pull up a register and go down a heating duct, two whole floors down she was stuck in the furnace duct. I had to take it apart to get her out.
Why do cats crawl into tight dark places?
This cat was lucky they had a jack hammer and knew how to use it.
