A rare yellow penguin
#1
A wildlife photographer on an expedition to Antarctica was greeted by a rare sight. In amongst all the black and white penguins there was a yellow one.  The penguin is probably Leucistic and therefore  unable to produce black pigment. Instead, the feathers that would have been black, appear to be yellow.
This is a never seen before bird. There were over 120,000 penguins  on the beach and only one yellow one.

This is so different. We always think of penguins as black and white. We think of them as wearing little tuxedos. What would we think of the little yellow on as wearing. Would we think of him as a little yellow fire hydrant?  He is certainly beautiful. We may never see another one like him, but at least we got to see this one rare yellow penguin.
