I came across an article about an estate in England that is rewilding part of its land. It caught my eye because I have visited that estate, many years ago.
They have brought in species that belong there and are letting them establish themselves and in the process restore the land. It is part of an ambitious project to restore the land.

This is amazing. Because there are so many people and projects even the small projects become part of something much bigger.
This is something that can grow with time and keep on growing.

This article has links to other projects. I had no idea there was so much going on.

Rewilding Britain is an extensive project that aims to return a percentage of the land to its natural state.

This is amazing. Much of this land has not been in its natural state for hundreds of years. Seeing it return to the wild is something I would never have dreamed of when I visited over 40 years ago.
