A skunk with a wheelchair
#1
Teddy is a rescue skunk. He was rescued as a baby with severe respiratory issues. Four years later Teddy is still going strong. However he developed a problem walking. Because of the pandemic it was some time before he was able to see a vet. Teddy had fractured a leg which led to arthritis and trouble walking.
Teddy gained weight an was not looking good.  Then Gunnar's Wheels Foundation stepped in and created a wheelchair for the little skunk. They provide wheel chairs for other animals, but Teddy was their first skunk. Now Teddy is active and getting around. His future looks bright and he might even walk on his own again.

It is amazing what can be done to help an injured animal. I would never have thought of giving wheels to a skunk. Good for Gunnar's Wheels Foundation for what they have done for Teddy. Good for Teddy that he keeps on trying. He is one amazing little skunk.
