A well intentioned, but totally inexperienced person found a set of ducklings wandering down the road. She took them to a nearby river and released them near another duck with ducklings. That mother duck killed the unfamiliar ducklings. Someone called Cleethorpes Wildlife Rescue and they came right away. Sadly only one duckling was saved and it doesn't look too good.
The woman had no idea what to do when she found the ducklings. What she did was the wrong thing. She should have called a local rescue for help or at least for advice.

The ducklings were pretty young so even it they were not killed, they probably wouldn't have survived. If she had left them alone, their mother might have come back. It is possible they were not lost. People need to leave wildlife alone. If you don't know, then don't touch.
