Cat and kittens found sealed in a plastic container.

Someone sealed a cat and her kittens in an airtight plastic container. By the time they were found they were all unconcious from lack of air. The mother cat suffered temporary blindness and one kitten ultimately died.  Fortunarely the rest of the kittens have recovered and the mother cat has her sight back. They are now living in a foster home until they are ready for adoption.

Someone actually took the trouble to seal the cat and kittens in the container and drop them on the side of the road. Couldn't they have just dropped them at a local shelter?  How about some airholes too. It was an act of cruelty and I hope they find out who did this. 

Why isn't the message getting through to people. There are shelters that will take unwanted pets. Cruelly abandoning animals is never necessary.
That kitten should not have died at one week old. It had its whole life ahead of it and it should have  lived to be adopted into a loving home.  No animal should ever be abandoned.
