Jack Hanna diagnosed with Dementia
Jack Hanna, zoo director, conservationist and animal lover has been diagnosed with dementia, possibly Alzheimers.  After a life time of working with animals and the public, he is now retiring  from outside activity. In his life he did much to make people aware of animals and raise conservation issues.

It is sad to think of Jack Hanna like this. I think I will always see him as the strong charismatic figure that he was. After all he has done for animals, I hope his last years are peaceful. Dementia is not easy, but it can be peaceful.
