Dog rescues cat that was missing 10 days

A cat named Flea was missing for ten days.  The neighbor's dog finally heard its cries and alerted people. Flea had fallen down a well. She was right there across the road, but no one could hear her down the well. As soon as the dog heard her cries he alerted people. Then the Fire and Rescue Service send someone down the well to bring Flea to safety. She seems fine and unbothered by her ordeal. Just hungry and thirsty and in need of a good bath.

Dogs are so clever. The dog heard the cat and realized she was in trouble and managed to convey to people where the cat was. They were not even two animals that lived together or even had a bond. The dog just knew that another animal was in distress and reacted.
I wish they would have shown a picture of the dog. He is the real hero.
