Dogs rescued ahead of Yulin

China Dogs Rescue  works to save dogs from the Yulin dog meat festival. Normally they fly dogs to the USA. Right now with travel restrictions they cannot fly the dogs to the USA. The can however fly them to Canada. So China Dogs Rescue set up an office in Vancouver Canada. That office could fly dogs to Vancouver, clear Canadian customs and then drive the dogs to the USA, clear American customs. From there they are driven to Seattle where they are flown across the country to places that will receive them and find them loving homes.
That is what they have done for over 180 dogs this year.

That was very quick thinking, the opening of a Vancouver office. It allows the rescue to get around travel restrictions and bring numbers of dogs to safety.
Sure it would have been easier to take a direct flight, but this worked and it was the only option available right now. With Yulin fast approaching all rescue solutions need to be right now.  I hope they are able to bring more flights of dogs out  before the dog meat festival begins.
