It is almost time for the Yulin Dog Meat Festival. It runs from June 21-30. Many dogs are killed and eaten. A lot of those dogs are pets that have been stolen.

Activists have been fighting this event for years. Many groups work to rescue dogs from the Yulin market. Some work behind the scenes year round to shut down dog farms. Even though the practice of dog eating is losing popularity, the practice still continues. There may be less dogs each year, but for each dog involved it is not less cruel and frightening.
There is a petition that has a lot of signatures already. Let's hope it gets many more.

We need to push against Yulin every year until it is stopped. Some day it will be stopped.
